A dental implant is an artificial tooth root that a periodontist places into your jaw to hold a replacement tooth or bridge. Dental implants are an ideal option for people in good general oral health who have lost a tooth or teeth due to periodontal disease, an injury, or some other reason. Dental implants are so natural-looking and feeling, you may forget you ever lost a tooth.

Before deciding to undergo dental implants you have to read some articles or watch videos regarding the procedure.

This what I've done before I decided to have a dental implants.

I got those valuable info at http://akrondental.org/

You can also try this one. Happy reading :)

I wonder if the titanium will make you feel cold during cold seasons like the metal that are used to connect broken bones?

It gives me an idea! Maybe it is a good question to ask to a Raleigh dentist, since we would be having a symposium in our school with the dentists. Raleigh, NC's dental school equips us with skills and knowledge not just with the usual class but with forums to keep us active in the field.

Very good blog.
Dental bridges are very helpful and it also look natural in appearance.

It is a very easy procedure and takes only 2 sittings for the treatment.
And another very good thing is that if one maintains a good oral hygiene, a dental bridge may last for as many as 10 years.

Dental implants do not need any special care and cleaning treatments; regular flossing and brushing work perfectly well with these which means that it is easier to maintain good dental hygiene with these.
